I'm not one to score board watch for the most part but Colorado was up on Edmonton 4-2 going into the third period and I thought that the AV's could hold down the fort and get a win...
Boy was I wrong. 5 goals against in the third period alone. Man that team sucks balls... |

Nope but Gully just like any coach plays favourites even when they're undeserved |

Nice blog todd !! I do agree Rasmus needs his chance. He is ready!! Eng and bartkoski are just doing ok defiantly not great!! But I disagree the only guy that played good on the Jonny money line was ferland!! Jonny was trying to be fancy and monahan seemed like he was fighting the puck. And at times didn't take the shot when it was presented. Shoot the dam puck especially on the pp!!! Also thought versteeg was fighting the puck all night long as well. They will make the playoffs, but need to avoid blues, hawks and ducks in the first round. Edm or minny would be the match up for the first round. |

It's pretty much impossible for the Flames to play the Blues or the Wild in the first round. About the same chance of the Flames missing the playoffs. |

Pretty much the flames will play either Chicago, Sanjose, the Ducks, or Oilers.
The way all the teams have been playing it looks more likely itll probably chicago, san jose or the Ducks. Soo I guess im hoping to play San Jose, but all really hard match ups. |

I don't know what Engelland needs to do to earn some respect from people, but he's more than done his part. The guy has done everything this team has asked of him and more. Sure, he has a bad contract but that's not his fault and he's been a workhorse. I've liked Bart's play, too.
We need Johnson to pick up his play, you're certainly right about that. He was so good earlier on in the year but he's fallen pretty hard off.
As for the forwards, I know you have some kind of vendetta against Bouma for whatever reason, but he's doing his job. You want to look at a struggling forward, look at Bennett. He's been struggling all year. He's only 20 years old and by no means ahould we give up on the kid, but if you're going to call out Bouma for not getting points (when he isn't necessarily supposed to be) then you should probably call out Bennett too. |

1.) Engs throws the puck up the ice more often than he makes successful passes. Frustrating to watch. But yeah, he keeps other team's honest and can play above his head when he needs to.
2.) Bouma has gotten pretty meh after finding his game for a while a few months ago. His penalty killing skills have been not great lately.. Bennett is still finding ways to be effective every game, whereas Bouma is rarely doing the same. After all, the bottom six should be more accounted for their handling of defensive assignments; not point production.
Just my take on it. Not shooting your idea down. |

This is a pile of nonsense! Bennett is 20fcking years old, Bouma is in his prime. Bennet is in his ELC & Bouma was paid based on the 20 goal season he had. Players that are under contract & paid millions for something they are expected to do can & should be called out. Bennett is still 20 fcking years old!
